The need for Systems Diagnostics (SysDx) is particularly critical in complex, multi-factorial diseases such as autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases and cancer.1

Despite harboring significant scientific and economic potential, there is a lack of predictive diagnostics in certain costly disease areas:

  • Autoimmune diseases
  • Oncology (e.g. using NGS)
  • Infectious diseases

For example, autoimmune is an area saturated with drugs on the market and in the development pipeline due to the following:

  • Chronic
  • Worsening disease progression
  • Treated with drugs with partial response
  • High associated costs
